  Consumer beware! We have moved alot, including 4 times in last 6 yrs. Never a bad move until this last one! We contracted with Carey Moving and Storage in Greer. Move of household from Simpsonville, SC to Florence, SC to include full packing and full insurance. They did 2 detailed in home inventory estimates , last one 10 days before move. They left half the packing undone stating they did not have enough staff to send. We cancelled our weekend plans and packed ourselves before the truck came on Monday! At our destination they upcharged us 25% more (several thousand dollars) and refused to move our household in until we paid. The driver had no weight ticket and told us our load had not been weighed. Carey Moving produced a piece of paper with a weight and hand written date a week later. They said they use their own scale, it's old and does not print the date or time. After 5 months we had no repairs to our damaged items. They said the owner thought the repairman they chose charged too much. We asked them to refund what we paid for insurance and we would have the repairs made. No recourse, Intrastate moves are largely unregulated! A word to the wise!

  The movers did an exceptional job. Nothing broken. Everything was handled with care and moved exactly where it needed to go.
  The movers were very cordial and also very efficient and fast moving.
  The price was lower than what I thought it would be and it was priced very well.
  I highly recommend these movers as they know what they are moving and they don’t just try to get it done. They handle things with care while also moving things very quickly as well.
